Proverbs are one of the most important elements of a language, reflecting cultural values, traditions, and social norms. This study examines the similarities and differences between English and Uzbek proverbs from a linguadidactic perspective. The research focuses on their structural, semantic, and functional aspects and explores how proverbs can be effectively used in language teaching to enhance learners’ cultural awareness and linguistic competence.
